Number 7 & Number 19: Take Part in a Sporting Event & Take Part in, or Set Up A Fundraising Campaign
I did it, in 30 degree heat.
I did the Race for Life 2018 - and raised £70 (plus gift aid) for Cancer Research.
It was a hot hot day, but I had my best friend and my Mum by my side - and my lovely husband and sister in law cheering me on!
We walked most of the 5K course, I simply couldn't even fathom jogging it in that kind of heat. But I ran the last few meters and over the finish line to collect by medal.
It was a really great day and a fantastic atmosphere, and a special way to cross off not one, but TWO 30 before 30 bucket list goals.
Well done to everyone else who took part last weekend, and dare I say I'm planning on doing it again next year.... ;)
